In order to give Tammy Barkley and Oscar John Cahill a method to share sports-related information with schools in Queensland, they founded the MetEast Club in 2006. Since then, it has expanded into a vast network encompassing 1200 schools and more than 16,000 members throughout the state. MetEast has a strong reputation for giving reliable sports reports, which it attributes to its honesty, thoroughness, and rigorous preparation. The club actively promotes Queensland's sports culture by developing young talent under the direction of a committed group of coaches that includes national champions. Representing Queensland's passion for sports and celebrating the region's sporting achievements, MetEast serves as a kind mentor for both seasoned participants and devoted fans.
